Heroes Website

The school completed it's first academic year in June 2009. Heroes is Santa Ana's first "green" school, constructed to be energy efficient and use recycled building materials such as floor tiles. It's a traditional school year K-5 school that will draws from the existing Wilson, Hoover, Carver & Romero-Cruz schools.

As you can see from the boundary map, only students below 10th street attend Heros. The reduced student load at Wilson School allowed SAUSD to remove several of the portable classrooms and expand the playground. The handout from the WSNA meeting with projected enrollment and more can be downloaded here.

The only drop-off / pickup area for Heroes is on Civic Center and there should be no traffic through Washington Square. If you have any concerns or problems with the school call the office (above) ore the Santa Ana School Police 714 558-5535.

WSNA hopes that Heros will teach good citizenship and good manners to their students.
