Join your neighbors in Washington Square and embark upon a progressive evening stroll. Linger with friends, enjoy the homes in the 900 block of North Louise Street. Treat your palate to a variety of wines, snacks and sweets. At the Wine Walk you will learn more about wine while you enjoy Washington Square hospitality. The Wine Walk begins promptly at 6pm at 920 North Louise, the home of Valerie Boulter.
Please note that the flyer you received says 920 N. Lowell. This was a typo. The correct address is 920 N. Louise for check-in.
Please arrive and check in by 5:45PM. Check in will open at 5:30 and close at 6:15. We keep the Wine Walk on schedule. Proceeds are donated to WSNA, your nonprofit, all-volunteer neighborhood association, a 501(c)(3) organization.
PLEASE bring a snack or dessert to share. This is a requirement, not a suggestion. It's one way we keep the registration fee for this fun event low. We suggest sweet or salty bite-sized offerings. All food contributors will be entered into a drawing for bottles of wine. Good luck! Please make sure to label any serving dishes you bring with your name and address in case you forget them. Every year there one or two orphans are found and have to be returned. Wine Walkers can buy drawing tickets for beautiful wine-themed baskets and other sublime prizes which you'll see lined up along the driveway as you enter. All the wine, food and prizes come from the neighbors and supporters of WSNA.
The Wine Walk is considered by many to be the be the most fun neighborhood event of the year. Take a look at the photos from the 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011,2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 or 2017 Wine Walks and notice all the smiling faces. Please join us and become one of them. The event is limited to 75 participants. For that reason we limit each household to 4 total participants. You must be 21 to attend, no children please, we mean it, DON'T BRING THEM!!. If you or any of your guests are under 30, please bring ID. We will be checking it. Don't forget cash for the drawings too.
