Mil Jugos January, 2006. Mil Jugos means "a thousand juices" and while the menu lists 22 varieties instead of a thousand, it's the food you should go for! It's Venezuelan cusine served up by owner Norah Briceño. The Cachapas are beyond wonderful, sweet corn pancakes with a variety of fillings. And make sure to eat the Arepas with your hands for the full effect. They're corn bread filled with a variety of yummy fillings. Norah is passionate about her food, tell her it's your first time there and she'll make sure it's not your last. Read the OC Register review from Nov. 25th 2005. You may have to register, but it's free. I can't wait to go back and try some of the other things on the menu. If anyone from Washington Square want's to add to this review, please do. --WSNA Webmaster I ate at Mil Jugos today for the first time and it was wonderful! The food was fresh made to order and tasted that way. The price was reasonable for what you get and the place has a family feel atmosphere…I would recommend it to anyone! Mark Remme June 2007 |
